Dear Lincoln families,

Welcome to Lincoln, home of the Lions! I am Principal Kelly Smith. I have worked in education for 15 years and am passionate about the potential that we have to make the world a better place through the work that we do together. I have worked in the Grants Pass School District for 4 years. Something fun/interesting to know about me is that I spent time living in Austria and Ireland when I was younger.  

At Lincoln, we value being kind, and choosing to do the right thing, even when it is hard. We believe in the potential of each and every child and know that together, we can facilitate an environment in which students are able to learn and grow. We are proud of our 22 highly qualified and passionate teachers who go above and beyond to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed. We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities and events, including Peer Mentoring, Junior Coaching, chess, band, strings and an academic extravaganza in the spring to provide our students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success both in and out of the classroom.

This year, we will continue to focus on choosing to be kind and ensuring that every student feels that they are safe, that they matter and that they belong here at Lincoln. We welcome your support and involvement. We believe that communication and collaboration are key to a successful school year, and we encourage parents and community members to stay involved and engaged in our school.
